Vicky was the fattest girl in school and she had a big crush on me. I couldn't do anything with her because of what my friends would say. Following high school I married Karen. She developed pancreatic cancer and died when she was just 32. The 1st card of sympathy I received was from Vicky who was still single. Vicky invited me to her place following the burial services. We had a few drinks and then Vicky said: "You don't have to worry about your friends say about you and I now because they have all gone their way without you". That statement completely relaxed me. All the tension in my life was gone. After a few more drinks Vicky invited me to her bedroom to get better acquainted. I loved Karen dearly, but she did not come close with what Vicky did for me. We dated a few weeks and then got married exactly 1 month after Karen was laid to rest. Vicky was planning to diet so I would not be ashamed of her in public. I told her she could do that, but I 1st wanted to see what she weighed. She stepped on the scale and I went to 228 and I told her that was fine with me. She has put on a few pounds since then, but I still am very proud of her when we are out in public. Bill and Vicky Lorenzine
